My crab is wearing a 1" opening Sharkeye shell, is this the same size as a 1" opening Green Turbo shell?

The Sharkeye has a D-shape opening and the Green Turbo has a Round shape opening. A 1" Round opening is not the same as a 1" D-shape opening.

Explanation:For a given shell opening size, a D-shaped opening shell will fit a smaller crab than a Round opening shell. In other words, if your crab is comfortably wearing 1" D-shaped opening shell you would look for about a 3/4" Round opening shell to give him or her the same fit.
