excellent! October 21, 2011 Reviewer: Cara from Pittsburgh, PA United States   I purchased this product based solely on the wonderful customer reviews, and I was not disappointed. I've been sprinkling this on top of their basic crab kibble and their food dish is almost empty every morning. Also you can't beat the price! Your Hermies Deserve a Tastee Treat September 18, 2011 Reviewer: Beth K from Cudahy , WI United States   This is a great mix! Our hermit crabs are snobs when it comes to food because my daughter will chop up different fresh food daily for them, we love our little beasts! this being said...They LOVE this mix!  My daughter serves this up with fresh mangos, mandarin orange, wakame and bonita flakes-calls it Island Delight, ha! they loved it and we love that we have a great place to go for food we can feel good about giving our hermies!  Hermit Crab Patch is killer kool we appreciate the free samples they sent and the fab customer service has us coming back to them for all our supplies and solid crabby advice!  Thanks!!  P.S. I love reading reviews from y'all for what everyone else is doing to keep thier crabbies happy!  A tidbit from us....we cracked a coconut in half-- one in my tank,one in my daughter's I'm watching them now going crazy in love w/it! Awesome! January 17, 2011 Reviewer: Megan Chan from San Jose, CA United States   My hermit crabs love this stuff. I got it originally in a sample packet the first time I ordered stuff from the site. I'm proud to say that my hermit crabs love this stuff over all the other foods I put in there. It's usually the first thing to be eaten (even above all the leafy greens, carrots, and fresh food)! My crabs love it! October 14, 2010 Reviewer: Jennifer Myers from Suwanee, GA United States   When I read the reviews of other people feeding their crabs this food and how they ate it all up, I was like, yeah, right.  My crabs, whom I have been feeding Zoo Med pellets, never came close to eating all their food and I usually ended up throwing most of it out every other day I changed it.  Well I fed my crabs this food, and sure enough, I looked the next day and it was practically all gone!  They love it!  I would highly recommend this food for your crabs. A MUST HAVE FOOD every day for your crabs! June 28, 2010 Reviewer: Steve R. from N.Y. United States   Long story short, my hermit crabs would be very lethargic, and wouldn't eat alot, and I'd never see any droppings that would indicate them eating. I'd feed them fruit, crackers, greens, but nothing seemed to entice them. I happened to come across this website online and decided to try the food mixes offered, even though I was very skeptical that my crabs would go for it. After putting the Surf N Turf mix in their dish, the hermit crabs proceded to clean the plate twice in two days! They now eat everyday, and there is hermie droppings all over the tank every morning to prove that they're eating and enjoying the food. What a change in their behavior too! They're highly active now, have a deeper color, and eat tons of food! Was this review helpful to you?

Straws Love It! May 11, 2010 Reviewer: Briar Jansons from Windsor, ON Canada   My strawberries are not famous for eating anything, but when I put out a shell of this mix, I had one camped out for over ten minutes, chowing down! It is very exciting to me to see a reaction like this, as I have read other people's crabs doing this, but I had never seen it in my tank with any other mix! Excellent! December 18, 2009 Reviewer: Samuel Morris from Hays, KS United States   I just rescued a troubled little hermie from the local pet store, he looked malnourished and dry. As soon as I put him in his tank he ran straight to the food dish and gobbled up all of this protein mix. I am now keeping a full stock of this in my cabinet for my hermies.
