My crabs areburied molting and their sand is starting to dry out. Can I take the crabs out and re-wet the sand?

You should not disturb your crabs while they are molting.

Explanation:
It is ok if the surface of your sand dries out a little as long as the deeper portion remains moist. If the deep portion is getting dry then gently moisten with bottled water.

Do not pour a strong stream that might cave in any underground burrow that your crabs have created. An old fashioned watering can works well since the water comes out gently.
