Mix: Entire contents into 1 gallon of distilled water.

This pack is designed to make a gallon of salt water to be used in moistening substrate or for hermit crab drinking water.

We mix this up half at a time in a half gallon mason jar. Lasts about 3 months for us with no change in quality, but probably lasts indefinitely. So easy to use and so much cheaper than premixed kind at pet stores. We have been using this product for several years with no problems. Thank you Hermit Crab Patch!

My crabs absolutely hate this salt water! I followed the instructions to a tee! I have no idea what I'm doing wrong! Now, I have to rush to the pet store to buy a $6 - $9 bottle of salt water! Yikes! What a fail!! So disappointed!!

Never again will I buy pet store hermit salt water!!! This stuff is what your hermits need like no joke! I honestly feel like a better hermit mom since finding the hermit crab patch store and now my crabs we living their  best life!
