This pack is designed for customers with large crabitats. It can be used to mix up 200 - 300  pounds of sand (equivalent to 8 - 12 of our pre-mixed bags), to create an enriched healthy mixture for crabs to live on and bury in. This would be the kit to use when setting up a large crabitat from scratch.

Great if you have sand. November 8, 2009

I used this pack to mix up approximately 200lbs of sand.  Makes a nice mix using instructions, only thing  I did differently is soak the eco-earth bricks in a 12 qt plastic container sideways, then broke them up after about 20 and let soak another 10 then removed the excess water.  My sand mix required quite a bit of water to be added to get to the right consistency.
