Description Additional Information   This pack is designed for customers with large crabitats. It can be used to mix up 200 - 300  pounds of sand (equivalent to 8 - 12 of our pre-mixed bags), to create an enriched healthy mixture for crabs to live on and bury in. This would be the kit to use when setting up a large crabitat from scratch.   Features This pack is for large crabitats. The Eco Earth helps with moisture retention. The Oyster Shell supplements calcium. Hermit crabs commonly pick at and eat their substrate. Moistening with Instant Ocean adds salt and minerals to the mix. Great if you have sand. November 8, 2009 Reviewer: Andrew from Lafayette, IN United States   I used this pack to mix up approximately 200lbs of sand.  Makes a nice mix using instructions, only thing  I did differently is soak the eco-earth bricks in a 12 qt plastic container sideways, then broke them up after about 20 and let soak another 10 then removed the excess water.  My sand mix required quite a bit of water to be added to get to the right consistency.
